LEWISTON – Working Together, in partnership with the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, will host an interactive seminar for businesses from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. June 24 at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Employment lawyer Rebecca Webber, of Linnell, Choate and Webber, will discuss the legal ins and outs of work force diversification. Human resource staffing specialist Marcia Leander of Unum will give a business perspective on hiring a diverse work force.

Merritt Carey, Working Together’s business liaison and an employment lawyer will discuss the business case for diversifying a work force and how to make diversity work. The session is intended to be completely interactive; attendees are encouraged to bring their concerns and questions, as well as information to share.
