TD Banknorth will be announcing at a press conference this morning that it will open a 500-seat call center in the Auburn Mall.
The call center will occupy the space that Steve & Barry’s formerly occupied. Construction to renovate the facility will start later this year, and will open in 2010.
It is anticipated that the call center will employ up to 500 mostly full-time workers and create 300 new jobs.
