Lodge supper
WILTON – Wilton Lodge 156, Maine Lodge 20, Jepthah Council 17, Franklin Chapter 34 and Pilgrim Commandery 19 are joining forces to hold another public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, in the new Harland Harnden Masonic Lodge Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton.
Baked beans, hot dogs and casseroles with rolls and dessert will be served. The cost will be $8 a person for adults and $5 for children under 12. Proceeds will benefit the building fund.
The building holds the lodge and has a large dining hall and kitchen. Dining hall rentals are also available for small parties, receptions and gatherings. For more information, contact Alvin McDonald at 645-2190.
Guitarist to play
LIVERMORE FALLS – Noel Rosa will be at Emmanuel Assembly of God for the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, June 21. He will also perform at the Livermore Falls Gazebo at 6 p.m. that day.
Rosa has shared the stage with such music artist as Audio Adrealine, Rick Mullins and Pierce Pettis. He has also worked with the Billy Graham organization, Luis Pallace and Dave Reover. He plays percussive style guitar.
Book sale
NEW SHARON – Jim Ditzler Memorial Library will hold a book sale from 9 to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27.
Paperback books will be 25 cents each or $3 a bag. Hardcover books will be 50 cents each or $6 a bag. Craft and decorating magazines will be 12 for $1. Proceeds will be used to benefit the library programs.
Closing sale
STARKS – A thrift store closing sale will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 19, and 9 to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Route 43 and Chicken Street. Clothing and shoes will be 50 cents and other items will be reduced.
Library election
WILTON – The annual meeting of the Wilton Free Public Library Association and election of officers will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at the Wilton Free Public Library. The meeting is open to the public.
