NORWAY – The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital is beginning a Nordic walking program from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17.

Walking will take place at the Gouin Athletic Field, Alpine Street, South Paris. Poles will be available for use.

Everyone can benefit from Nordic walking, which is both a cardiovascular and muscle endurance mode of exercise. Certified Nordic walking instructors Rita Myrick and Kathleen Carroll will introduce the fitness walk.
