Grange supper

CHESTERVILLE – Chesterville Grange will have a public baked bean supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 20, featuring baked beans, salads, casseroles, biscuits and homemade pies. Cost will be adults, $7; children, $3.

Food sale

STRONG – A food sale will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Strong Methodist Church. Proceeds will benefit Oppalunski Chapter 125, Order of the Eastern Star.

Shortcake serving

FARMINGTON – Homemade strawberry shortcake will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4, on the Pierce House lawn, Main Street, featuring Pikes’ Farm strawberries.

The $4 serving will include a full-size homemade biscuit covered with strawberries and whipped cream. Proceeds will benefit Farmington’s Old South First Congregational Church, UCC, community service, outreach and youth programs.
