LEWISTON – Stella Couture, the former Stella Palman, turned 100 years old on May 16. A birthday party, given by family, was held at the home of her niece Polly and husband Sam Carey in Greene. It was attended by many friends and family.

The 8:30 a.m. mass at St. Patrick’s Church on May 17 was said in her honor. A reception hosted by the Rosary Sodality was held following mass in the Monsignor Fitzpatrick Room.
