Pahrumph Nev. – Jeannine Hall, 75, of Pahrumph, died Saturday, May 23, at home in her sleep after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 28, 1934, the daughter of George and Phoebe (Doyon) Letourneau.

In 1976, Jeannine rode her horse Rosie from California to Maine and back, a distance of 11,000 miles, in 3 years.

She is survived by her companion, Billy Andrews; two daughters, Lorrain Sands of Auburn and Suzie Steffen; granddaughters, Lisa Verville of Lewiston and Jessica Veinott of Auburn; grandsons, Thomas Sechak, and William and Eric of Modesto, Calif.; great-grandson Daniel Verville; two sisters, Shirley Florida of Warren, Ohio, and Sandra Gagnon of Lewiston; three brothers, Normand Letourneau and wife, Jeanne, of Lewiston, Richard Letourneau of Lewiston, and Raymond Letourneau of Penacook, N.H.; two sisters-in-law, Therese and Judy Letourneau of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Pearl Guenette and Georgette Caron; and three brothers, William, Alfred and Robert Letourneau.
