PARIS – A 50-year-old Norway man was arrested Sunday, two days after police began looking for him in connection with an assault on a woman.

Glenn Gloden of Frost Hill Road was charged with aggravated assault.

According to a report by officer Bill Grover of the Paris Police Department, Gloden punched out the window of the woman’s vehicle and struck her several times in the face at a home on Highland Avenue in Paris. The woman was later taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital, where she received 20 stitches for her injuries.

Gloden was arrested at a residence at Long View Acres in Paris on Sunday.

On Tuesday, Justice Roland Cole reduced Gloden’s bail from $5,000 to $500. Gloden had been released from the Oxford County Jail by Tuesday evening.
