STRONG – Fairbanks Union Church, Fairbanks Road, three miles north of downtown Farmington, is hosting a special Vacation Bible School.

For three days in late June, the farm of Anne and Christopher Smith, located on the Hartwell Road, will be transformed into the 13th century Italian countryside of the world of St. Francis for “Brother Sun – Sister Moon: The Joy-filled Life of St. Francis of Assisi.”

Children ages 5 to 12 are welcome to enter the world of St. Francis as he cares for all God’s creatures, great and small, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday, June 29 to July 1.

The children will explore the wonders of God’s world, decorate a chapel, learn songs, hear stories, press flowers and make crafts.
