- Carrie Close, 13, of Auburn raises the sail during the "Quotes and Boats" drama and sailing camp at the Taylor Pond Yacht Club in Auburn on Monday. Close, an eighth-grader at Auburn Middle School, is one of 12 teenagers who will concentrate on improv and character building during the morning and learning to sail in the afternoon for the next four days. "I have taught sailing for over 20 years and this is the most fun I ever had," said instructor Liz Rollins, the music and theatre teacher at AMS.
