Friday, June 26, Chriss Sutherland of Portland will perform with Denise Dill and Jessy Kendall at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. The show starts at 9 p.m. On Saturday, June 27, Jeanelle Demers of Auburn, above, will host an artist’s reception at the restaurant/cafe on Middle Street. An art graduate from the University of Vermont, Demers is studio manager of Willard Square Studio Arts and an artist-in-residence at Captive Elements Art House in Lewiston. The opening of her “200 Faces Project” will include portraits she has commissioned as part of her effort to paint 200 portraits along with other selected works. The reception starts at 7 p.m. with musical performances by Argyle Effect of New York City, Computer At Sea of Portland and Rotundo Sealeg of Belfast, beginning at 9 p.m. There is no cover for either event.
