Summer Food Service Program mascot The Power Panther is greeted by a group of children during his visit to Kennedy Park in Lewiston on Monday. The meals program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will serve free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under at Kennedy Park outside a portable building adjacent to the swimming pool. The program is designed to feed the hungry and promote healthy eating habits. Breakfast is served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.
