Leo R. Caron
LEWISTON – Memorial services honoring the life of Leo R. Caron were held Saturday at the Calvary Methodist Church, with the Rev. Casey Collins presiding. During the service Leo’s son, Scott sang the “Lord’s Prayer” and words of remembrance were shared by Penny Goodwin and Louis Talarico and by several other members of the church. A Kora Shrine delegation also recited a short ritual service in honor of their fraternal brother, Leo. A delegation from the former Pinette Construction Co. was also in attendance. After a procession to Gracelawn Memorial Park for graveside committal prayers by the Rev. Casey, the U.S. Army Honor Detail played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Leo’s wife, Barbara for services rendered by her husband to his country during the Korean Conflict. A reception of fellowship was then held back at Calvary Methodist Church Hall. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel, Auburn.
