Antoinette R. Blouin

1924 – 2009

LEWISTON — Antoinette R. Blouin, 85, a resident of 4 Orchard Circle, Lewiston, died with her family by her side Tuesday, June 30, at Montello Manor after a short illness.

She was born in Brunswick, Friday, June 13, 1924, the daughter of Wilfred and Irene (Fluet) Racine. She married her husband, a star bowler, Norman Blouin on Nov. 13, 1948.

Toni was an excellent seamstress developing her talent sewing for the Ursuline Sisters. She carried that talent throughout her life making clothes for her family.

She was a member of Holy Family Church, a member and former president of the American Legion Post 22 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Norman of Lewiston; one son, Reginald “Reggie” Blouin and wife, Ann, of Plainfield, Conn.; one brother, Roland Racine and wife, Giselle, of Lisbon Falls; one sister, Aliette Dumas of Lisbon Falls; three grandchildren, Randy, Ricky and Jenny; as well as one great-grandson, Lucas.

She was predeceased by one son, Richard Blouin June 8, 1977.
