BAR HARBOR, Maine (AP) – Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins are appearing in Maine next week to raise money for a historic theater in downtown Bar Harbor.
On July 8, the Criterion Theatre will show the 1988 movie “Bull Durham,” in which Sarandon and Robbins starred with Kevin Costner. The Bangor Daily News says Sarandon and Robbins will talk about their careers and answer questions afterward. Tickets are $35.
Sarandon owns a lakefront property on Mount Desert Island that she inherited from her father, who died a decade ago. The actors, who have two sons together, met while filming “Bull Durham.”
