- Ralph Tuttle, right, awarded the 2009 Lisa Giguere Scholarship Award for Journalism to Kelsey Cote, center, a graduate of Lewiston High School, who will attend Boston University in the fall. Cote was supported by her mother, Gabe Cote, left. Giguere was a journalist with the Sun Journal for 30 years. The scholarship was created in her memory by her husband, Tuttle, in partnership with the Costello family, publishers of the Sun Journal. In the spirit of Giguere’s quest for the truth and thirst to learn, this scholarship is designed to identify promising, questioning, young journalists and help them develop their talent.
