Harvey Merle Chadbourne

AUBURN — Harvey Merle Chadbourne, 75, of 26 Bolster St., died Monday, July 6, at Bolster Heights Nursing Home after a long illness.
He was born in Wells, Aug. 18, 1933, the son of the late Hurley K. and Esther A. Shaw Chadbourne. He was educated in New Gloucester schools and served his country in the National Guard and later in the U.S. Army. He was married April 9, 1966 to Shirley Bubier, and she died Oct. 3, 1999.
He had been employed in local mills. He attended Grace and Truth Apostolic Church in Lisbon and was an active member. He enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Gagnon and husband, Michael, of Leeds and Becky Hamel and husband, Jeffrey, of Lewiston; a son, Harvey E. Chadbourne of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, Nathan Gagnon, Jeffrey Hamel Jr. and Elaine Hamel; a brother-in-law, Walter Bubier Jr. and wife, Margaret; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Cote and husband, Ronald.
He was predeceased by a sister and her husband, Alice and Arnold McNelly.
