LEWISTON — Women, Work and Community will offer a free, seven-week class titled Steps to Economic Security. It will be followed by individual and group network meetings that guide existing business owners to set personal and business financial goals and develop a plan to achieve greater economic security.
The class will be held Wednesdays beginning July 15 and continuing July 29; then on Sept. 2 and 23, Oct. 14 and 28, with a last class on Nov. 18. All classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and will be held at USM Lewiston-Auburn College, Lewiston. Those interested in attending must furnish a business plan and current business activity and sales of 18 months or more. Class size is limited to 15, so early registration is encouraged. Preregistration and attendance at all seven sessions is required.
