Guy H. Jamison Jr.
1928 – 2009

MEXICO — Guy H. Jamison Jr., 80, died Monday, July 6, at his residence on Poplar Hill Road in Mexico, with his family at his side.

He was born in Mexico, on Oct. 15, 1928, a son of the late Guy and Esther (Horne) Jamison Sr. He attended Mexico schools. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1946 to 1948, and the Korean War. He was a self-employed logger. He was an avid Red Sox fan and hunter.

He was married in April of 1949 to the late Kathleen Wood.

Survivors include sons, Ken Jamison and his wife, Myong-Ae, of Virginia, Brian Jamison and his wife, April, of Mexico, Rodney Jamison and his wife, Pauline, of Peru, Wayne Jamison and his wife, Shane, of Mexico, Jeff Jamison and his wife, Donna, of Saco, Alan Jamison of Mexico and Bruce Jamison and his wife, Lisa, of Roxbury; brothers, Charlie Jamison and his wife, Grace, of Rumford, Tim Jamison of Mexico and Jerry Jamison and his wife, Rosa, of South Carolina; sisters, Dawn Downs of Carthage and Marilyn Stearns of New Hampshire; 18 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Guy Jamison III; and a brother, Harold.
