The third of the four art works created by artists from around the state through the Percent for Art program was finished last week at Dirigo Elementary School in Peru. This piece, titled "A Day Out," is a three-dimensional depiction of some of the features of the area, including the mill, the river and some of the wildlife. Artist Mike Stiler of Monhegan Island created the 15-foot long picture from plywood.
