MEXICO — The following incidents were
handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.

Arrests:

Victor Sheldon, 22, of Main Street,
Mexico, domestic assault, at 6:56 p.m., July 6, on Main Street. He
was released from the Mexico Police Department on $500 unsecured
bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

Kristy Wilson, 32, of North Street,
Dixfield, two counts of domestic assault, at 11:12 a.m., July 6, on
Main Street. She was released from the Rumford Police Department on
an unspecified amount of bail. She was also summoned for operating
after suspension. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District
Court on Aug. 4.

Burglary:

A Main Street resident reported at 1:18
a.m., July 5, that someone had entered his residence sometime during
the previous evening or afternoon and stole $50 cash and 60 to 70
prescription Vicodon pills. Police have leads.

Theft:

Someone stole 12, 24-inch round cement
pads, valued at $240. from the Mexico Recreation Park. The report was
made at 3:43 p.m., July 2. The pads were to be used to help level the
park’s pavillion.

Accident:

Vehicles operated by Bruce Garland, 67,
Vacaville, California, and Eileen Adams, 61, Wilton, collided in the
parking lot at the Oxford Federal Credit Union at 4:48 p.m., July 1.
Garland’s 2003 Dodge sedan sustained $2,000 damage. Adams’ 2009 Honda
sustained $1,500 damage.
