AUBURN — Bill Brewster’s double with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth broke open a close game as Rogers pulled away from Mechanic Falls, 11-3, in Zone 3 American Legion baseball action Monday.

Brewster tallied four RBIs on the day to lead an offense that pounded out 12 hits for Rogers (10-4). Adam Lutz picked up the win in relief, fanning five in three innings of work. Brewster, Mike Lutz and Devin Flynn all cracked doubles for Rogers. Nick Douglass led Mechanic Falls with two hits.
