Angus King once said he would not impose his wind turbines on communities where there would be opposition. A gentleman’s behavior.

That was then. Now, people in Roxbury have emerged from the brutal winter and taken time to make sense of the changes those 400-foot bird-killing machines would do to the value of their home, the vistas they see every day and to their health. Quicker than you can say “post-construction bald eagle mortality studies,” I believe King has changed from being a gentlemen to a bully.

It was good while it lasted.
