Simone M. Gaudreau
AUBURN — Simone M. Gaudreau, 89, of Minot Avenue, a former Robinson Gardens resident, died Wednesday, July 15, at Clover Health Care Facility.
She was born in St. Bridgette des Sault, P.Q., Canada, the daughter of Edmund and Anna (Smith) Jutras. In June 1940, she married Marcel Gaudreau Sr., who died in August 1995. She was an active member and volunteer at the First Assembly of God Church, she enjoyed sewing and was an excellent cook. She will be best remembered as a great mother and grandmother to her family.
She is survived by one son, Marcel Jr. and his wife, Patricia Gaudreau, of Virginia; four daughters, Sylvia and her husband, Roger Verreault, of Turner, Suzanne and her husband, John Turner, of Auburn, Patricia Brannigan of Connecticut, and Denise and her husband, Daniel Richardson, of South China; one brother, Marcel Jutras and his wife, Carmen, of Connecticut; three sisters, Yvette St. Germain, Theresa Marcoux and Germaine Boucher, all of Auburn; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Gaudreau; four sisters, Lucia Goulet, Lucille Mason, Fleurette Carrier and Jeanne Marquis; and two brothers, Roger and Gerald Jutras.
