Senior trips

LEWISTON — The Meadowview Seniors have planned the following trips for adults: 

Friday,
August 14, Hollywood Slots in Bangor, leaving at 7:30 a.m. The cost is
$25 and includes $20 from the casino for food and gambling. There are
several spaces available.

Wednesday, September 30, two spaces are
available for a trip to the Ogunquit Playhouse to see Sally Struthers
in “All Shook Up.” The cost is $72.

The trip to Indian Head
Resort for the Christmas show and buffet is sold out. To be placed on a
waiting list or for information on any of the trips, call Bert Dutil,
trip coordinator, at 786-2305.

Class reunion

LEWISTON — The Edward Little High School Class of 1954 will hold its
55th class reunion on Aug. 22 at the Carriage House at 1119 Lisbon St.
with a social hour starting at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The
following morning, there will be a breakfast get together, also at the
Carriage House, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Cribbage, pinochle players

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens’ cribbage and pinochle leagues will begin the first week of September and run Thursdays, to the last week of April. Cribbage will start at 9 a.m. and pinochle will begin at 1 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch Street.
