WELLS, Maine (AP) – A New Hampshire teenager has been found dead in a Maine motel and a Massachusetts man is facing alcohol-related charges in connection with the death.

Wells police say they found the body of 19-year-old Brian Devanney of Plaistow, N.H., at the Seacoast Motel after receiving a 911 call Wednesday morning.

Police said the death appears to be alcohol-related. An autopsy is being done.

Police said 21-year-old Dino Trent of Haverhill, Mass., who registered the room, was charged with allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on premises under his control resulting in death. Trent was taken to the York County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bond.

Another person sharing the room, 19-year-old David McNee of Wilmington, Mass., was charged with attempting to shoplift liquor from a supermarket.
