Jazzin’ at Holly’s

The Three Point Trio will appear for Jazz Night at Holly’s Own Deli and Restaurant on Thursday, July 16. The group has shared its passion for jazz with the Lewiston-Auburn area since late 2007. Guitarist and Bates physics professor John Smedley, bassist Tim Clough and drummer Tom Schipper (aboce) play a combination of jazz standards and original compositions. On Saturday, July 18, the Broad Street Trio has taken the best of the Broad Street Band and toned it down into an easy-listening evening of classics and favorites. There is no cover either night.  The bands will appear from  6:30  to 9:30 p.m., outside on the patio, weather permitting.
