Between 7 a.m. Friday, July 7, and 7 a.m. Friday, July 17, Lewiston police responded to 752 calls for service. Of those calls, 156 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked in the Oak Street parking garage was damaged by someone who kicked the passenger-side door and shot the windshield with a BB gun.
A vehicle parked at 126 Spring St. was damaged overnight July 9-10.
A vehicle parked at 250 Sabattus St. was egged between 9 p.m. July 12 and 7 a.m. July 13.
A vehicle parked at 524 Main St. was damaged by several thrown golf balls sometime overnight July 11-12.
A building at 15 Wood St. had shingles torn off and BBs shot through some garage windows sometime prior to 1 p.m. on July 10.
A home at 1252 Sabattus St. had a screen door slashed several times prior to 1:50 p.m. on July 11.
The Farwell School at 86 Farwell St. had numerous pieces of playground equipment vandalized with markers overnight July 10-11.
The Longley School at 145 Birch St. was vandalized overnight July 15-16. The Multi-Purpose Center was also tagged with “MRH” and “LAF” in black spray paint.
The Multi-Purpose Center at 145 Birch St. had a window broken overnight July 9-10.
A vehicle parked at 21 Walnut St. had its front and rear fenders dented overnight July 13-14.
A utility trailer parked at 301 Bates St. had its taillights torn off and broken overnight July 10-11.
A vehicle parked at 111 Ash St. had its tires slashed overnight July 10-11.
A vehicle parked outside of 73 Pine St. had both mirrors broken overnight July 9-10.

Theft
A Canada goose lawn ornament was stolen from outside of 89 Village Dr. prior to 2:30 p.m. on July 16.
A bicycle was stolen from outside of Shaw’s at 27 East Ave. at 4:30 p.m. on July 12.
A blue and yellow Trek 18-speed mountain bike was stolen from outside of John Bertram Hall at 78 Campus Ave. sometime between 8:30 p.m. on July 15 and 8:30 a.m. July 16.
A propane tank for a barbecue grill was stolen from outside of 20 Farwell St. overnight July 12-13.
Several packages delivered to 102 Morse Ave. have been stolen following their delivery in the past weeks.
A silver Trek 3700 mountain bike was stolen from Lewiston High School at 156 East Ave. between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on July 15. It was later recovered at Kennedy Park from a male in a white Adidas shirt.
An orange Mongoose BMX bike with pegs and a blue and green Next BMX were stolen from 58 Pierce St. sometime over the past month.
A Honda generator was stolen from a storage room inside 134 Main St. prior to 10 a.m. on July 15.

Burglaries
An apartment at 34 Bartlett St. was burglarized prior to noon on July 10; money was taken.
An apartment at 1068 Sabattus St. was burglarized prior to 10 a.m. on July 11; a doorway was kicked in to gain entry.
An apartment at 906 Lisbon St. was burglarized between 7 p.m. July 15 and 2 a.m. July 16; entry was gained by an unlocked door. A Sentry Safe, six emerald rings, one pair of one-carat diamond earrings and some personal documents were taken.
A residence at 12 Drew St. was burglarized sometime between July 9 and July 11. The entry door was pried open, a computer and telephone were taken.
An apartment at 73 Maple St. was burglarized overnight July 9-10. A door was carded to gain entry; four drills were stolen.

Motor Vehicle Burglaries
A vehicle parked at 70 Blake St. was burglarized overnight July 12-13; a stereo was taken.
A vehicle parked at 403 Pond Road was burglarized overnight July 15-16; some change was taken.
A vehicle parked at 22 Pond Ridge Dr. was burglarized overnight July 15-16; a Sirius satellite radio was taken.
A vehicle parked at 14 Peter Blvd. was burglarized overnight July 15-16; a purse was taken.
A vehicle parked at 11 Bellegarde Ave. was burglarized overnight July 8-9; a GPS was taken.
A vehicle parked at 88 Shawmut St. was burglarized overnight July 11-12; a wallet was taken.
A vehicle parked at Del’s at 43 Walnut St. was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on July 16; a tool box was taken.
Officers responded to the Centreville Garage at 62 Canal St. on July 14 at 12:40 p.m. for a report of teenagers going through vehicles. They were described as males wearing gray short-sleeve T-shirts. Both suspects left their bicycles behind and fled.
A vehicle parked at 206 Golder Road was burglarized on July 16 prior to 6:57 a.m.

Operating After Suspension
David Pelletier, 46, was charged with operating after habitual offender revocation and violating conditions of release at 5:38 p.m. on July 10 at 2 Wicklow Place.

Operating Under the Influence
Denis Larochelle, 36, was charged with operating under the influence on July 16 at 1:16 a.m. at the corner of Canal and Main streets.
Steven Wood, 22, was charged with operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident at 1:03 a.m. on July 17 at the corner of Main Street and Strawberry Avenue. He struck a parked vehicle and attempted to flee the scene.
Danielle St. Amand, 22, was charged with operating under the influence and operating after license suspension at 1:51 a.m. on July 17 at the corner of Sabattus and Orange streets.
Gregory Clark, 28, was charged with operating under the influence at 12:50 a.m. on July 14 at Old Greene Road and School Street.
