LEWISTON — Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Charles T. Webster at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home.
Officiating was Pastor Don Levesque, who also recited prayers of committal at Pine Street Cemetery in Auburn. At the cemetery, an honor guard from the U.S. Army folded and presented an American flag to the widow, and a representative of Oxford Plains Speedway waved the checkered flag over Charlie’s casket as it was lowered. Following the service, family and friends gathered at the home of Charlie’s aunt, Virginia Dixon, in Wales, in order to continue the celebration of his life with food and fellowship.
