RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Cecilea M.T. Scott of Dixfield was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music included the prelude to the Mass “Sissy’s Song” and during the Mass “Amazing Grace” “You Raise Me Up” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “Because the Lord is My Shepherd.” Readings were given by Regina Moulton and Tammi Bernard. Eulogy was given by James Scott. Interment was in the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. Pallbearers were Peter Scott, Troy Scott, George Scott, Albert Pomerleau Jr., Rick Blackman and Donnie Gilks. A reception followed the Mass downstairs in the Parish Hall of the church.Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
