LEEDS — Donald R. Therrien, 70, a resident of Bishop Hill Road, Leeds, died Wednesday, July 22, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1938, in Lewiston, the son of Alfred and Elizabeth Begin Therrien. He graduated from Lewiston High School. He worked as a process camera man and print setter at the Kennebec Journal for more than 30 years.
He enjoyed hunting, camping at South Arm on Richardson Lake, loved spending time with his family and spent many wonderful times with his brothers. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
He is survived by three daughters, Denise LaRoche and her husband, Christopher, of Alfred, Celine Henderson and her husband, Dale, of Rye, N.H., and Michelle Greenberg and her husband, David, of Short Hills, N.J.; five grandchildren, Brett and Sarah Henderson, Gabriel, Michael and Andrew Greenberg; two brothers, Ralph Therrien and his wife, Shirley, of Lewiston and Jean-Guy Therrien and his wife, Ginette, of Quebec, Canada; many nieces and nephews; his former wife, Claire Therrien; and a longtime companion, Mary Ili.
He was predeceased by a sister, Gaetane Hinkley.
