LEWISTON — Fuel Restaurant, a modern French bistro located at 49 Lisbon St., Lewiston, has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2009.
Fuel is one of 18 restaurants in the state to receive the award, which honors restaurants for having an outstanding wine list.
The wine list must represent at least 100 different selections, and the restaurant must have an on site inventory of more than 400 bottles. Fuel’s wine list tops 136 selections, with more than 600 bottles currently in storage.
Fuel is the first restaurant in Lewiston/Auburn to receive the award.
