AUBURN – The Outlaws pounded out three victories in recent Auburn Players League softball action.
Allan Hurd, Reggie Emery, Jim Buckhoff and James Bixby each pounded out two hits in an 11-9 victory over Main-Land Development. Hird had a double and four RBIs. Emery and Buckhoff each drove in a pair of runs. Bixby was the winning pitcher.
Ernie May was 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 17-7 rout of Young Guns. Ryan Pleau, Hunter Erikson, Jeff Roy and Bixby delivered three hits apiece. Erikson cranked two triples and an inside-the-park home run, driving in four runs. Pleau poked a double and a triple. Roy doubled and two RBIs. Bixby drove in a run and again picked up the pitching win.
Roy was 3-for-3 and a defensive stalwart in a 4-1 triumph over Marauders. Emery added two hits and a defensive gem to end the game with assistance from Dan Erikson at second.
In other league action, Assassins topped Team Argo, 16-12. Justin and Tommy Juray and Joey Scammon each smacked four hits. Toby Tiner Jr. was a multiple hitter for Argo.
