LIVERMORE FALLS — The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing Monday to determine whether a mobile home at 418 Campground Road is considered a dangerous building and/or a nuisance.

The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 3, at the town office.

“We have lots of issues with the property,” Town Manager Jim Chaousis said Wednesday.

Among them are that the trailer owned by Leo Copp has no running water, is missing windows and there is hazard waste on the front lawn, he said.

The mobile home was previously condemned, he said, and no one is supposed to be living there.

However, “We believe there may be squatters there,” he said.

“If the board decides it is a dangerous building, we will get a court order to remove any people from the property,” Chaousis said. “That is one of the options I’ll bring before the board.”
