Ryan Scott Davis graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. on May 22, with a bachelor of science degree in information technology from the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. Davis is also listed as a national dean’s list student.
During the five-year program, Davis studied abroad at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. He also worked an academic year as part of his RIT co-op employment program at two businesses in the Rochester area, Lenel Corporation and EM 2 Advertising, where he is now employed as a Web site technologist.
Davis also worked for the Rochester area Kiwanis Club’s Camp Sunshine program where he was a counselor for developmentally disabled and physically challenged children.
A 2004 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, he is the son of Holly and Scott Davis of Buckfield and the grandson of the late Richard and Gerry Davis of Auburn and the late Eugene and Lucille Hannon of Portland.
