Elizabeth Sutton Mitchell, daughter of Barbara and Wylie Mitchell of Auburn, received a bachelor’s degree from Bates College on May 31.

A 2005 graduate of Edward Little High School, Mitchell majored in art and visual culture. Her undergraduate activities included Bates sailing team, dance and community service. She was a resident coordinator this year.
