CASTINE — Local students have been named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the second semester of the academic year. Students named to the list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Andrew Joy, Lewiston, is a member of the class of 2010, majoring in marine engineering technology. He is a graduate of Lewiston High School.

Corey Sampson, Auburn, a member of the class of 2011, is majoring in marine engineering technology. He is a graduate of Hebron Academy.

Ryun Cote, Auburn, a member of the class of 2009, is majoring in power engineering technology. He is a graduate of Edward Little High School.

Kristi Gordon, Auburn, is a member of the class of 2009, majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School.

James Bower, Norway, a member of the class of 2010, is majoring in power engineering technology. He is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

AJ Cerrato, Sumner, a member of the class of 2009, is majoring in marine engineering technology. He is a graduate of Buckfield Junior-Senior High School.

Gabriel LaRoche, Greene, member of the class of 2010, is majoring in small vessel operations. He is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School.
