LEWISTON — The Maine Association of Retirees members re-elected Amy Ashton of Lewiston to serve as one of three regional directors and re-elected Preston Chapman of Auburn to serve as one of three alternate directors for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties at their regional meeting held on April 27.
Regional directors and alternates are volunteers, and they also serve as members of the board of directors for the association.
The Maine Association of Retirees protects and expands the rights and benefits of Maine’s retired teachers, state/county/municipal government employees, and supports a fiscally sound retirement system.
