Elizabeth Bean, 4, of Lewiston gets a hot dog from Adam Rand, one of 25 Wal-Mart Distribution Center employees who volunteered to prepare 1,200 hot dogs and pass out cookies, chips and drinks for the National Night Out at Kennedy Park in Lewiston on Tuesday. Hundreds of people attended the Lewiston police, fire and recreation departments’ block party featuring music, food and wall climbing. The event is designed to promote neighborhood spirit, police and community partnerships.
