OXFORD — Project Educate will host a free movie event at Flagship Cinema, 150 Main St. on Saturday, Aug. 15, for families living with autism and other developmental disabilities.
The Margaret Murphy Center for Children is expanding its early
intervention services for children with autism and other developmental
disabilities/delays, and is currently seeking families in need of these
services. Staff will be available to speak with at the event.
A meet and greet will begin at 10 a.m. and the movie begins at 10:30 a.m. Families can choose from “Harry Potter:The Half Blood Prince,” “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” and “Aliens in the Attic.” All movies have a PG rating, are subject to change, will be shown
without previews and soft lighting will be on to best suit the needs
of the audience.
