Great Falls Balloon Festival
August 21-23, 2009
Balloons, balloons, balloons! Celebrate with a balloon moonglow on Friday night, August 21. Weather permitting the show will start at 8:45 p.m. Join the fun in Lewiston’s Railroad Park and Auburn’s Festival Plaza! Due to weather conditions, the best times for balloon launches are 6 a.m. for morning launches and 6 p.m. for evening launches. Times may vary depending on conditions. Moon glows – hot air balloons tethered and lit up with propane – will be displayed Friday and Saturday evenings at downtown activity areas as weather permits.
