AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer a course on timber framing from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 27 to Dec. 10.
Participants will learn the planning, layout and joinery necessary to construct a traditional timber frame structure and will cut out and fit together a bent frame during the course. The cost is $499, including materials, and is open to the public.
