1941 – 2009
LEWISTON — Alice Y. Langlois, 67, of 70 Blake St., Lewiston, died Sunday, Aug. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her family by her side and after a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 28, 1941, the daughter of Alfred and Yvette Caron Dubreuil. Educated in Lewiston schools, she worked for many years in the local shoe industry. A member of Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish, she loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends.
Survivors include her mother, Yvette Dubreuil of Lewiston; a daughter, Tina and husband, Daniel Thompson, of Lewiston; three sons, Barry of Hampton, Va., Daniel and wife, Jennifer, of Sabattus and Brian and wife, Becky, of Sabattus; two brothers, Maurice Dubreuil and wife, Bernadette, of Lewiston and Normand Dubreuil and wife, Shirley, of Winthrop; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by a son, Johnny in 1985; an infant daughter, Karen; and a sister, Irene Miquelon.
