It seems to me that the motives of the Obama administration to make changes within the government may not be in the best interest of the American people.

Publicly elected officials are sworn to protect and uphold the Constitution of the United States. As citizens, we are guaranteed life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as we choose for ourselves, not what elected officials choose for us.

The proposed changes to the nation’s health care system may provide a public option, which is scary at best. Why dismantle the best health care system in the world for one that ensures more government control over the public, and is guaranteed to be much less efficient?

The problems with the health care system now are because of government programs that burden people and the health care system with mandates that add extra expense to everyone in health care. I can only imagine what would happen if the government ran the entire system.

Do we really need another inefficient, costly, government program that will come between us and our health care system? I think not!

People should not be fooled by the sales pitch coming out of Washington, D.C.. Let the Constitution work for the people. The government has other things to do. Maybe government officials should be concentrating on making the government more efficient, protecting our borders, working for the people, not the special interests, and telling the public the truth!

Anyone for term limits?
