BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) – A Connecticut man accused of kidnapping two women at gunpoint and making them put on prom dresses before fondling them has pleaded not guilty.
Joshua Gonzalez appeared Tuesday in Bridgeport Superior Court. He’s charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and other crimes.
Police say the 27-year-old Gonzalez kidnapped two 22-year-old Fairfield women last month and forced them into his apartment in Bridgeport, a neighboring city on the Long Island Sound. Police say he made the women put on prom dresses and lie next to him on a bed while he groped them before letting them leave.
The women tell police Gonzalez said he was re-creating a scene from a fetish movie.
An attorney for Gonzalez has declined to comment. The case returns to court Sept. 15.
