Duane ‘Pat’ Hussey
1948 – 2009
WEST PARIS — Duane (Pat) Hussey, 61, of West Paris died Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Ledgeview Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 8, 1948, to Kenneth and Hilda (Norton) Currier. He had worked at Maine Machine Products in South Paris for many years, until his retirement.
Pat enjoyed all types of sports including hunting, fishing, golfing and racing. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball in South Paris. He was a former member of the Norway National Guard.
He is survived by his mother, Hilda Currier of Norway; two daughters, Shannon Avery of Casco and Kacie Hussey of Pittston; a sister, Shari Whitman of West Paris; a brother, David Currier of Oxford; two grandchildren, Tyler and Payson Avery; and special nieces and nephews, Shelbi, Josh, Anthony, Taylor, Melissa, Kimberly, Monica and David.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Hussey; stepfather, George Currier; and a sister, Bonnie Henderson.
