PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Four new officers are joining the Portland Police Department.
The four to be sworn in have recently completed training at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and will start work for the city following the 9 a.m. ceremony.
The department has 121 patrol officers, 23 sergeants and nine lieutenants, and employs 50 civilians.
