The Zack Pomerleau Blues Band
Saturday, August 22
Auburn
8:30-10:30 p.m.
Maine’s newest up and coming
band, The Zack Pomerleau Blues Band, play an eclectic mix of blues and rock that
features teenagers Zack Pomerleau on howlin’ Harmonica (and vocals and guitar),
and Sam Berce on the scorchin’ slide guitar, and
also shows off the bass work of John Berce. There is bound to be some crazy
musical sounds to come from the stage when these guys play their interpretations
of songs from early blues artists like Muddy
Waters and modern bands like Jason Ricci
and New Blood. No longer is the blues a thing of the past for the older
generations, Zack Pomerleau and Sam Berce are modernizing the blues in a way
that will not only open the eyes of the young kids in the crowd, but also the
eyes of their parents and families alike.
