LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 20 in the tent at Simard and Payne Memorial Park (formerly Railroad Park) on Oxford Street in Lewiston at the Balloon Festival.

The chamber will be collecting housewares to donate to Volunteers of America for at-risk teens and young adults. The collection will be for items one could outfit a small home or apartment with (dishes, sheets, toaster ovens, microwaves, trash cans/bags, etc.). Those planning to attend could help by collecting such items at their offices and among friends and families. Items may be dropped off at the chamber or bring them to the After Hours.

Business After Hours is held once a month at a chamber member’s place of business. Attendees enjoy food, prizes, fun and socializing.
