Edward S. Littlehale
1930 – 2009
NORWAY — Edward S. Littlehale, 79, of Littlehale Road, North Andover, died Saturday, Aug. 15, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Rumford Corner, July 24, 1930, the son of Roscoe and Ervena (Cole) Littlehale. He graduated from Andover High School, Class of 1948. He worked as a woodsman most of his life and was employed for Richard Pelletier in Andover for many years until retirement in 1993.
He was a former member of the Mundt-Allen American Legion Post in Bethel; he was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing
He was married in Rumford on Aug. 31, 1955 to the former Madeline P. Sawyer, who survives of North Andover. Other survivors include a brother, Clinton Littlehale and wife, Barbara, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Edith Martin of Indianapolis, Ind.
He was predeceased by brothers, James, Ellis, Clifford and Ray Littlehale.
